Supertonic Music is a music publishing and production company which was founded by Evert Verhees in 1982 in order to manage his numerous activities as a musician, composer and arranger-producer of pop music, film scoring, radio and TV jingles and commercials.
After studying piano and classical guitar, Evert Verhees became symphonic rock group Banzai's bass player (1972-1976). After this period, he transitioned into a successful studio and live musician, producer, songwriter and worked with artists such as Maurane, Toots Thielemans, Alain Bashung, Eddy Mitchell, Alain Chamfort, Arno, Axelle Red, Richard Cocciante, Salvatore Adamo, Philip Catherine, Soulsister and Viktor Lazlo.
He accompanied the French icon Renaud on his latest 'Phénix' tour (2016-2017) and is currently a member of the band which is backing up French star Julien Clerc on his world tour (2021-2022).
