SUPERTONIC MUSIC was founded in Belgium in 1982 by Evert Verhees and Patricia Maessen - who had started writing and playing together many years before - as a publishing and production structure to promote their own material.
Evert Verhees has ever since been collaborating with a wide range of artists as a musician (bass & keyboards), composer, arranger and producer in the field of pop, advertising, jingles and film music.

Patricia Maessen (vocals) and her two sisters had their own successful band 'The hearts of soul' in the late sixties, which became 'Dream Express' in 1974 (they participated twice in the Eurovision Contest). Meanwhile she became a well demanded backing vocalist and she started writing lyrics. She unfortunately passed away in 1996.

In 1997 their son TIM started to experiment in their home studio composing and producing dance tracks, released as different projects: Love Generator, DJ Bassett, Tonic, etc.
Early 2001 the young pop/rock singer PATSY BLACKSTONE was signed to the Supertonic Music label and her debut album has been released in April 2002.
